Service technician (m/f/d) in the field of renewable energy

We are looking for a dedicated service technician (m/f/d) with a background in electrical engineering to join our team, who will carry out technical inspections of electrical systems to ensure they are in good working order and document their condition.


Your responsibilities

  • Carrying out DGUV V3 inspections on wind turbines and other renewable energy installations.
  • Protective equipment inspections on wind turbines and substations (depending on qualifications)
  • Troubleshooting, fault analysis and technical problem-solving
  • Carrying out maintenance and repair work
  • Documentation of the work carried out and the test results
  • Responsible use of tools, measuring equipment, materials and company vehicles
  • IT skills
  • Active involvement in the continuous improvement of our service and quality processes

What you’ll need

  • Completed training as an electrician, electronics technician or mechatronics technician specialising in electrical engineering
  • Ideally, experience in the field of wind turbines, charging points, solar parks and battery storage systems (preferred but not essential)
  • Knowledge of or training in DGUV V3 (desirable)
  • Knowledge or training in safety engineering (desirable)
  • Category B driving licence (essential)
  • Good written and spoken German
  • Knowledge of English is an advantage (desirable but not essential)
  • Willingness to undertake fieldwork and work at heights
  • A sense of responsibility, team spirit and the ability to work independently
  • altitude tolerance
